Top 50 Countries with Best Rated Marriott Hotels - 2024

Do you love to travel internationally but don’t know which countries have the best Marriott hotels? If so, this post is for you!

Marriott has at least one hotel property in 136 different countries! Isn’t that incredible? You can visit an astonishing 70% of the countries in the world and stay at a Marriott😀.

For this post, I looked at the top 50 countries with the highest guest ratings across all their properties. As you can see in the visual below, there are some surprising winners!

Let’s take a closer look at the top 5 countries and their best hotels.

Peru comes out on top with an average 4.66 guest rating across 11 rated properties. The top property is the magnificent Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Cusco with an impressive 4.8 stars across 320 reviews.

Not far behind is the eastern European country of Georgia, with an average rating of 4.63 across 9 rated properties. The top property is the magnificent Le Méridien Batumi with an impressive 4.8 stars across 62 reviews.

The beautiful country of Greece ranks third, with an average 4.58 guest rating across 20 rated properties. The top property is the Academias Hotel, Autograph Collection with 4.8 stars across 216 reviews.

Over in the Middle East, the country of Jordan ranks fourth with 4.56 average rating across 8 rated properties. Nestled on the Red Sea, Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba is the top property with an average 4.7 stars across 608 reviews.

Rounding out the top 5 is another European country, Poland, with 4.53 stars across 23 rated hotels. The top property is the Hotel Verte, Warsaw, Autograph Collection, a 4.9-star property with 89 reviews.

Bonus review: When I was doing this research, I found it fascinating that the United States has the most rated Marriott properties with 5,007 - but was ranked 40th on the list of properties. When the US has more than half of all Marriott’s worldwide, it’s understandable that not all of them are 5 stars 😀.

That said, the highest-rated Luxury property in the US is the Canyon Suites at The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort, Scottsdale in Arizona with a 4.8 rating and 402 reviews. Coincidentally, I’ve stayed there with my family and it is truly amazing!
